Interactive Story Games Performance in France: Q4 2020 Insights

The final quarter of 2020 showed an intriguing performance for the top five interactive story games on the Android platform in France. Sensor Tower's data provides a snapshot of this genre's downloads, revenue, and active users, presenting a story of its own.

Starting with Episode - Choose Your Story, the app showed a rebound in revenue from $3.2M in early December to over $4M by the end of the month. Downloads saw a significant increase from 10K to over 26K, while weekly active users grew from approximately 50K to 78K.

Time Princess: Dreamtopia experienced a substantial growth in revenue, starting at a modest $109 in late October and skyrocketing to over $26K in the last week of December. Downloads also surged from around 8K to over 61K in the same period, with active users seeing a noteworthy increase from 20K to 75K.

Crazy Maple Studio Dev's Chapters: Interactive Stories maintained a steady revenue, floating around $58K to $64K in December. Downloads ranged between 7K to 12K, and active users saw a moderate rise from 37K to over 52K.

Campus: Date Sim by Amrita Studio had a mixed quarter, with revenue peaking at over $10K in early November before dropping to around $4.5K toward the year's end. Downloads saw a decline from 26K to 3.7K, and active users decreased from 35K to 16K.

Lastly, Dream Zone: My Love Fantasy observed a revenue increase from $5K to over $7K. The app's downloads saw a spike in the last week of December, reaching over 14K, while active users more than doubled from 8K to 17K.
